After the Process of Merging the Idea & Vodafone is India’s No 1 Telecom Company & World’s 2nd Largest Telecom Company. Overall the Completion process will take upto 2 years.
As Per TRAI Report the idea have 19.05Cr & Vodafone have 20.47Cr Subscribers till the December 2016. In Merging the Vodafone holds 45.1% Share, Idea 26% and 28.9% for Public. Both of Idea & Vodafone have 3G Sprectum in India. Vodafone & idea offers Service in 22 Circles. Till end of March 2017, The idea launches 4G in 20 Circles, where Vodafone offers in 17 Circles. It mean that after successful merge no any other Telecom Company can Compitate to Idea & Vodafone.
Vodafone’s Colao said, both Idea and Vodafone, “We are very complementary. Idea is strong where Vodafone is weaker. Vodafone is strong where Idea is weaker,” Colao also said, referring to the fact that Vodafone is typically stronger in urban areas while Idea is better placed in rural and semi-urban regions.
After Successful Merge The Operator can give data Speed Upto 150Mbps. Also it is Possible that they can Provide Cheapest 4G data & Voice Calling Plans. Especially the users Will get best Network in Semi Urban, Rural areas, Of India.

Due to merging process of Idea & Vodafone, The 25,000 Customer have to leave their Job. Also Reliance communication & Aircel have got Merge Permission. Only there is permission is pending for Merge Process.
